About the role

- Our Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) in Tomago is expanding, and we’re looking for skilled Boilermakers and/or NDT Technicians to join our dynamic team. With our continued growth and future expansion plans, this is an exciting time to come on board.
- You’ll be reporting to the Workshop Supervisors in our Engines and Power Train divisions, where you’ll play a vital role in testing engines, powertrains, and final drive components from a range of large-scale CAT machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on various CAT components to ensure quality and safety.
- Utilize advanced NDT techniques and equipment.
- Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings while generating reports and recommendations.
- Conduct light fabrication and welding tasks as needed to support rebuild and repair activities.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of rebuild projects.
Skills and Experience
- Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MP1 & MP2) is essential.
- Certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT1 & UT 2) is advantageous.
- Trade Certification in Fabrication Engineering and/or First-Class welding experience is an advantage.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
