AgResearch is currently looking for research advisor to join their team in Dunedin city, Otago, New Zealand. The ideal candidate must have ability to manage and implement financial and feed budgets. AgResearch is committed to use science to enhance the value, productivity and profitability of New Zealand’s pastoral, agri food and agri technology sectors value chains to contribute to economic growth and beneficial environmental and social outcomes for New Zealand. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $80,000-$100,000 per year. Applicants must have 6-7 years of experience in farm and livestock. Candidate must have ability to manage and implement financial and feed budgets.
Qualifications for Research Advisor:
- Candidate must have degree in agriculture and animal science.
- It must have experience in farm management including practical knowledge of livestock and crop management.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with scientific research methods and data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and produce reports.
Responsibilities for Research Advisor :
- Candidate must have ability to lead the day-to-day operations of the farm to ensure optimal performance.
- It must have ability to work closely with researchers to support scientific studies and experiments conducted on the farm.
- Ability to efficiently managing farm resources including livestock, crops, equipment and staff.
- Collecting and analysing data related farm operations and scientists, industry partners and regulatory bodies.
